Metaphorically Speaking

So, you know how there are always things that you want to do but you don't do them, because you're like scared or embarrassed or something and so you decide to be lame instead?  Yes.  Yes you do.  Well, here's the thing:  I am officially taking that concept, asking it to prom, and then on the night when it is standing on the porch in it's nice clothes and all excited I am driving by in a limo with my real date (Mr. Spontaneity McHappiness) and we are egging the crap out of it.  No, don't feel bad for it--it is not like Drew Barrymore in Never Been Kissed: it is not misunderstood and it does not just need a quick haircut and makeover to become a successful and popular woman who gets to make out with Michael Vartan.  It is a jerkface who tries to make you waste your life and act all lame all the time, instead of doing what you want and having a good time.

Ahem.
That is all.

Wow - I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. That may be one of the most vivid metaphors I have read in my life! I think you should definitely egg the crap out of that feeling. But remind me to say "no" if you ever ask me to prom. :)

I was totally thinking about poor drew and her braces and then I saw the light you shed on the matter and agree. my family lives on a farm and we have chickens who produce eggs, they are yours for the using, however this is not a metaphor. I think you should egg something, perhaps someone that has done the lame thing you speak of?

I don't think I get it. But I just want you to be happy.

What? I left you a comment last night, but I don't see it. Well, I was pretty tired. Maybe I only thought I posted it. Sounds like a new Katy emerging?! Look out worlds to come! (PS In case you can't tell from just my plural above, Dad and I watched about 2 disks of Primeval yesterday after choir!!)
