the creepiest sentence fragment I've ever gotten in a writing fellows essay

"studies show that the early tyrannosaurs were in fact smaller long armed creatures that had grasping hands"

Huuuuggghhhhh. Those grasping, grasping hands.

This is like Writing Fellows Week Fall 2009 up in here. I'm fellowing another round of geology papers, plus we're interviewing all the applicants for next semester. Today I sat for three interviews--it was crazy! It's like they think I am a competent adult or something. Weird. It was pretty fun though, and one of the interviewees was my friend Jamie from downstairs, so it was pretty relaxed. Well, for me anyway. Maybe she was still in tense-job-interview mode. Hope not. Anyway. Woo.

I love dinosaurs, I was actually thinking about that moments earlier when I was watching planet earth with the children and the said the blue whale is twice as big as any dino that ever lived, and I thought to myself "man, I love dinosaurs.." as long as they keep their grasping hands to themselves of course.

So you are fellowing about dinosaurs and Christy is hugging them (well, in her post at any rate!). Look out for dinosaurs in S. Utah--I think must be one of those warning coincidences.
