Hey so we're on Day One of The Worst Week Of My Life, and things are lookin' pretty good!
Midterm #1: DONE, with you know not flying colors persay, but shoot I do not ask for much, I think a B will do nicely.
Linguistics Paper: MOSTLY DONE, just gotta read it over and make sure it's not TOO obvious that I'm sort of 'synthesizing' a lot of what I like to call 'shiz and nonsense.'
What I'm Doing Now: Going to Becca's house for some rewards for working hard, which will include (but not be limited to? eh?) a funtime movie and soda of some kind.
Something That Makes It All A Bit Better: Smith's is stocking Pomegranete 7-Up again! That means it is truly the holiday season! And that I will be full of delious soda all the dang time because it is so dang good! I've made an apartment rule though, which is, you can have my soda if you want, and as much as you want, but you MUST drink it out of a glass with a stem. That should limit consumption to people who are okay with looking like they are pretending to drink sophisticated booze, aka, ME!
The Best Thing A Sister Has Ever Done: Becca made my powerpoint for me! Tomorrow in class, rather than just turn in our crappy made up papers, we have to do little presentations on them, and Becca rigged up a slideshow of Welsh propaganda-type pictures for me! Isn't that the coolest thing you have ever heard? The answer is YES.
Next thing on my list: ...let me consult the list....ah yes, Make a mead-type beverage for my Elang class. Yeah, I know. We have to do a project for each era of English, and we jsut finishe dhte Middle English period and one option of project is to make a food-type-thing, so shootdog if I'm not going to try to approximate a hot honey wine type beverage I found a recipe for in ye olde recipe booke. I can substitute white grape juice for white wine, right? Guys? Right? Anybody?
Next REAL thing on the list: Study for the dang linguistics midterm on Thursday, except actually I'm going to focus all my energy on remembering my BASIC MATH SKILLS ( a hint: they are non-existant) for the dang GRE on THURSDAY. Woo!

I was hoping that the multiplicity of things you have to do would bring on a blog! What luck! Um, yes. I cant see why a red grape juice couldn't substitute for wine. Not sure if the white grape would be too sweet? Maybe try them both and see which one is prettiest. That's how I would choose! I'm making pasta skeletons all day tomorrow. I'll think of you!
You're right, I AM THE BEST.
oh my goodness katie, this is the suckiest week of your life. interesting how your blog has been consistent two days in a row...haha. your elang class sounds so cool! is that true? should it be taken by someone like me? also, i laughed out loud imagining you telling your roommates about the rule of the pomegranate 7up and wishing I were your roommate.
How did the mead go? I wish I could try some
