On Saturday I walked over to Pioneer book just for a good time, and I found this fabulous looking book, called "Men of Might and Valor," and it's simplified Bible stories written in like 1920. So um, the moral dilemma--I feel pretty strongly about the sanctity of books, and not messing with them...BUT IT WAS SUCH A COOL BOOK COVER. It has a picture of Samson battling a lion embossed on the front, and it is all green but then the picture is black except his tunic thing is red, which exactly match the colors of the glue-in headbands I just bought, and seriously guys it is just so cool and the perfect slim journal size, and the thing is, I, um, well...
I ripped out the text block and replaced it with blank journal pages!!
THERE, I SAID IT. I feel like a Nazi. But a Nazi with a really really really sweet journal to take to England. Worth it? I DON'T KNOW. LET'S POLL ABOUT IT!
PS I will take a picture of the awesomeness when I'm not already late to meet Becca and should be running out the door; it will convince you to convince me that I did the right thing. Who wants simplified Bible stories anyway? Go read the Bible, kids! Sheesh.

I think that except for being late for Becca(which is DEATH!) you made all the right choices. :)
Totally fine. I mean, awkward if you think about it, but no big deal. Nieman did the same thing. Maybe?
This makes me LAUGH!
oOOO. I'm excited to see it. You're right-books like that just keep the kiddos from reading actual holy writ. You're doing the world a favor.
Katy, I want to vote and it won't count me?! Just know that there is one other vote and it's for choice #1. NOw, please blog again because it is my saving grace to find something you guys have written once school is out.
Since it wasn't a REAL bible then it's kosher. Or something.
