I have a problem: ALL I want to do for the rest of my life is practice accordion! It is the source of all real happiness! But then like I have all these "responsibilities" to "school" and "work" and "Katy it's really loud" and "we're trying to sleep" and "there's a baby napping directly under you and could you show some human decency" and "no it is not socially appropriate to behave like some sort of strolling accordion minstrel all the dang time." I mean, I see every day as an opportunity to help people by playing the accordion for them, but no one seems to understand.

You can come play accordion for me!!! I would listen. All the dang time. And I'm afraid if I named my baby Poppy she might be a drug addict one day. But maybe not. Good suggestion though. I kind of like it.
That is amazing! And I still have your movie . . .
Cute picture! I'll make sure that Grandma sees your blog! :)
According to the Corporal in Corleone, the accordian is quite cordial.
No way, Katy! Do you really play the accordian? That is so COOL! The accordian seems to be an underappreciated instrument in America. Sorry everyone is raining all over your parade. I hope their hearts will be softened and they will come to know and love the magical music of the accordian as played by Katy Anderson!
:O
Will you play on a sidewalk with a case of some sort in front of you so I could throw you a couple bucks?
Just now I had this image of you aimlessly wandering the streets, playing your accordion, and it made me really happy.
You can come and play at our house any time.
You know now that I think of it, I have always wanted to learn to play the bag pipes--IF I do learn maybe we could do a duet. We could hike up Y mountain and serenade the entire Utah valley!
how long have you been playing now???
