Nov. 5 (TOMORROW)= Guy Fawkes' Day! Granted, this holiday became a bit less cool after V for Vendetta came out and people started to know it existed, but still, I try not to sniff at opportunities to burn things.
Nov. 11=Armistice Day. This is a very important holiday to me. Traditionally, I wear my red poppy pin all day, and have a solitary crying party all night reading World War I poetry. Let's be honest, that's probably what will happen this year too--why mess with a legitimate excuse to read poetry and cry? But still, if anyone wants to do some muddy trench re-enactments, please be in touch.

A solitary crying party? What a lovely Armistice Day tradition! :) If you finish reading your poetry you can always watch the movie Galipoli. It devastes me every time I watch it. But at least Mel Gibson is in it. He helps me cope.
Do you have the cool video you and Becca and Danny did? I watch that for my remembrance day activities!
I thought about you and Becca on Guy Fawkes day - I had it written on my board in school...even had a captive audience to explain it to-- they thought I was kinda strange...I thought it was fantastic.
