Sometimes I forget I'm a nerd.  Then I look at my life, and I am reminded.  Case in point:  This morning I woke up going, "Holy Toledo!  What if it's time to register for Fall classes and I forgot oh man I'm so screwed!!"  So I rushed to my beautiful Mac and checked Blackboard, which said (and I quote) "Slow down there, champ, you've still got like a week to go.  Also, what is your freaking deal? That is a ridiculous thing to freak out about." Undeterred, I then spent the next hour going through the catalogue for next semester, copying down all the available times and days and professors for all the classes I could possibly want to take if I were to continue at school for the next 30 years, and then I did a little mock up of what classes I'll maybe register for.  The thing is, it was so much fun!  That is the proof that I'm a huge nerd.  Because seriously, just looking at this little sketch of a schedule and thinking about maybe taking Floral Design and auditing Hindi in the Fall makes me go into ecstasies of academic delight.

Sweet one, it is genetic and you got it on both sides. So just give up and embrace the schedule-making-loving nerdiness that graven on your DNA.

Katy, I do the same thing! Unfortunately, I'm on a stupid time schedule to graduate, and since I just changed my major it messes all the plans up.

Word to the wise mein amiga (whom I've not met---my name's Russ)...

From personal experience, I've learned that auditing first year language courses is intense...you must have rock-hard, refined-steel level discipline...when I tried it, I was never motivated enough to do all the homework...and since they expect you to PARTICIPATE...yeah, embarrassment ad infinitum.
