Oh gosh, this week

Guys, this has been a very busy and also pretty awesome week.  I got to:

--Make the guest book for Emily and Council Bluff's reception--what an honor!  I hope they like it!

--Make Becca's sweet birthday cake.  Nope, no modesty--I will admit freely to all that it was awesome.  There's picture son her blog, so...good luck with that.  Also, I got to go to her fun times birthday party which was pretty rad.

--I made my first cake that employed things other than cake-and-frosting!  It was my almost-roommate(she lives downstairs in my house)'s birthday and she wanted a strawberry and cream cake, so I kind of made something up involving yellow cake and strawberries and whipped cream (unsurprisingly, considering those ingredients) and it turned out pretty tasty!

--I actually made friends in orchestra this week, based (sadly?) on the mockery of others!  Seriously though, in orchestra it is not hard to find people to make fun of, and if it brings the back row of the cello section together, is it really all that wrong? 

--Also I had all kinds of school work things, but if I can't think of what all the shenanigans were right now then I'd just as soon keep it that way...

--Right now I get to go to Macaroni Grill for a Spain reunion!!  Honestly, it is difficult to say if I am more excited to see cool old friends, or to eat that dang tasty bread.  Truly, this is a testament to the coolness of Spain friends--most other people would lose to the bread hands down.
