Something crazy is happening.

I'm writing a research paper, and I'm actually interested in the topic.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THIS SITUATION!!!

I'm sitting here in the middle of the research part, there're hardly any sources to be found, I haven't written a word, there have to be 5 pages by tomorrow morning, and yet I'm not stressed at all. No dread, no frustration, no longing to pick up the computer moniter and throw it out the 4th floor window and jump out after it. It's like the freaking Twilight Zone!!

Seriously though, is this what it's all about? Is this how human beings can stand to become academic types? I always just assumed anyone with anything past a bachelor degree was just kind of a freak, but if this is what they have, then maybe it makes sense!

I'm researching trends in cover art in young adult literature. It's so cool! Maybe I'll explain more as I write the paper, so that all may share the interestingness! Also, I don't expect the funtimes to last into the actual writing part, so it'll be a nice excuse to take plenty o' breaks.
