Guys, I just made the best powerpoint presentation ever. I think the best part of it is the last slide, which is just a giant question mark. I definitely put a lot of thought into that part.
The deal is, I have to do a 2 minute "Book Talk" in my YA lit class, about Girl of the Limberlost. I found some pretty cool pictures of forests and swamps and giant moths, so really, case closed.
I might possibly do a double feature at International Cinema tonight. I don't think I actually will, but I sort of want to. I much prefer going during the week, Tuesdays especially, because there tend to be fewer people there for me to despise. Just in general of course--I'm sure if pressed I can come up with a healthy dose of despise-age regardless of the quantity of despise-ees.
Last night at FHE, which my apartment was in charge of, we played the paper game--the game where you write a sentance, and the next person draws a picture of the sentance, then you fold over the first sentance and the next person writes a new sentace to describe the picture. It reminded me of why funny/smart people are good to have around, and why lame people are so lame. Also it made me miss Katy P., becasue the one term we lived together she was obsessed with that game and we played it basically all the time. She's really good--you should see how well she draws yeshiva students, or the truly superb manner in which she illustrated the sentance, "You're not a man, and you're not my father." Legendary.
Anyway. I've only left myself 20 minutes before the 1st International Cinema movie begins, so, oh darn, guess I can't write my response for my Frost class yet. Really, that should be a sincere disappointement, becasue it's either tonight or in the one hour I have before class tomorrow, but still I cannot summon real regret. That class is dumb, and I refuse to care about it! Sorry Robert. You're still cool, I just don't want to respond to your poetic stylings!

Katy. Your blogs are the sugar in my tea cup.
Never feel sad about going to the InternationalCinema instead of writing a paper! Comeon. What is esential in life??
I want to hear more about the YA Lit class. Do you have a syllabus to share or something?
Oh dear, I pushed "publish" to quickly. It just sounds like a cool class. Any recommendations for someone like me who is YA at heart?
