Something I think a lot of people know about me is that I like a lot of movies that are of the ridiculously crappy sort, and also those of the vampire variety. I must be doing something right in life, because right now I am watching a movie on the SciFi channel which is without a doubt the worst, most ridiculously terrible movie EVER, and also it is about vampires.
--I just went to IMDb to maybe get a picture of it or soemthing, and ended up spending a a really fun ten minutes reading all the user comments. Some excerpts:
"This is without a doubt is the most superficial and idiotic totally unconvincing horror film I have ever watched...It's a disgrace and a total waste of one's money and time.Companies or artists participating in such crimes against the cinema should be put away."
"I only spent a dollar on this movie. This thing wasn't even worth that, if I had seen this movie for free I would still feel violated, and if I had been paid to see it, the money would not have been enough."
"I'd say that words cannot truly describe how awful this film is ."
Yeah, so with hilarious comments like that, there is obviously no way I can just turn it off and find somethign useful to do with my life.
So anyway, speaking of how I like movies that usually turn out to be stupid, I'm really excited for this "Stardust" movie to come out. I can only hope that it signals a return to the kind of movie making climate that produced such gems as Legend and Willow.
"Well, my quest is over. I killed the last great vampire prince....I'll see you all in heaven."
--okay, now say that aloud in the most bored tone of voice imaginable, and you will have recreated the last scene of this terrible movie. Wow. That was a truly glorious piece of garbage.
I almost have to respect the gusy who made it, becuase it must take effort ot create something that superlatively bad.
