I love long summer days with nothing planned in them. This is my only day off of work this week (except Sunday of course) so it makes me really want to seize the day. Sadly, I am an innately boring and sedentary person, so probably I'll go sew some stuff and try to find a rerun of the new Top Chef episode that aired last night. My sewing project is actually pretty awesome--Becca and I are making a quilt together. She was in charge of finding fabric she liked and most of the laying out (it's to be her bedspread-type-quilt at school) and now my job is sewing it all together. I'm actually almost done--If we had already bought backing fabric, I could probably have gotten the whole thing on the frame this afternoon and started tying. But I s'pose that'll wait until she gets home from work.
